Job Description

Electrical Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
Prepare baseline and revised schedules for electrical works.
Integrate electrical schedules with overall MEP and civil project timelines.

Monitoring & Coordination

Track progress of electrical activities and update schedules accordingly.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution.
Conduct regular review meetings with stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks.

Forecasting & Resource Planning

Forecast material and manpower requirements based on project timelines.
Prepare procurement schedules and ensure timely availability of materials.
Plan and optimize workforce deployment across multiple project sites. Billing & Payment Scheduling
Prepare billing schedules aligned with project milestones.
Coordinate with commercial and finance teams for timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Monitor cash flow projections and align with project progress.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of schedules, progress reports, and resource utilization.
Generate weekly/monthly dashboards for management review.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Project Experience

Proven experience in
LT Switchgear systems
including panels, distribution boards, and cable management.
Hands-on involvement in
high-rise buildings
,
commercial complexes
, or
infrastructure projects
.
Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and MEP coordination.
