Responsibilities

• Estimates cost for engineering projects based on an analysis of project technical

requirements.

• Collects and analyses all projects costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, and

tooling to ensure estimates are accurate.

• Being a cost estimation engineer should identify and quantifies potential cost

uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.

• Updates cost as necessary based on new information and project scope changes.

• Utilize cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages to

prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.

• Prepare cost break up for individual items taking into account base price and associated

overheads to determine appropriate unitized cost for a product or product assemblies.

• To minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the

required standards and quality

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience.

• Hands on experience in costing projection and estimation for the project execution.

• Sound knowledge on construction techniques

• Experience in working for high value projects

• Basic knowledge on 3D Printing.
