MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Modeler

The MEP Modeller Engineer will be responsible for modeling the Mechanical/Electrical and Plumbing scope according to customer specifications to ensure that Hitachi Energy solutions meet the customer requirements. In this role, you will: - Analyze customer specifications to ensure that Hitachi - Power Grids solutions meet the requirements. - Possess good knowledge of Revit modeling and coordinate through Navisworks tool. - Model HVAC/Plumbing/Water supply/Fire System/Key interlock and Security systems. - Ensure that the models meet the requirements and are used for their intended purpose. - Review the inputs provided by the Engineer and translate them into the required models. - Coordinate the models with the Electrical and Mechanical departments. - Coordinate the models between Civil & MEP departments. - Collaborate with the Project/Tender Team for timelines, budget, risks & opportunities related to BIM aspects. - Knowledge of any other 3D modeling software, including Tekla steel detailing software, would be an added advantage. - Knowledge of Civil/Structure/Architecture Modeling will be beneficial.
