MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Modeler

As a MEP Modeller Engg. at Hitachi Energy, your role will involve modeling the Mechanical/Electrical and Plumbing scope according to customer specifications, ensuring that the Hitachi Energy solution aligns with the customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer specifications to ensure that Hitachi - Power Grids solution meets the requirements. - Model HVAC/Plumbing/Water supply/Fire System/Key interlock and Security systems. - Ensure that the models meet the requirements and are used for their intended purpose. - Review inputs from the Engineer and translate them into the required models. - Coordinate model activities with the Electrical and Mechanical departments, as well as between Civil & MEP departments. - Collaborate with Project/Tender Team on timelines, budget, risks & opportunities related to BIM aspects. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or Diploma. - Minimum 3 years of work experience in MEP Modelling. - Knowledge of Civil/Structure/Architecture Modelling (advantageous). - Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Tekla steel detailing software (added advantage). - Good knowledge of Rivet modeling and coordination through Navis work tool. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. - Strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
