Job Summary:

MEP Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all MEP planning, design coordination, execution, and commissioning activities across high-rise projects.
  
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, civil, and finishing teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP services.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for timely approvals, procurement, and execution.
  
• Review and validate MEP drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, and shop drawings for design compliance.
  
• Develop and monitor detailed MEP work schedules in alignment with the master project schedule.
  
• Supervise the installation of all MEP systems including:
  

• Electrical

  (HT/LT panels, DBs, cabling, lighting, power systems)

• Mechanical

  (HVAC, ventilation, fire fighting systems)

• Plumbing

  (water supply, drainage, STP/WTP systems)
• Ensure all MEP installations are as per design, specifications, and local/national building codes.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and review progress to ensure quality and safety compliance.
  
• Ensure proper sequencing of MEP works with civil and finishing activities, especially in Mivan or high-rise frameworks.
  
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of all MEP systems.
  
• Ensure successful testing, snag rectification, documentation, and handover of MEP services.
  
• Coordinate with facility management or client teams for MEP system demos and documentation transfer.
  

Team & Vendor Management:

• Lead a team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
  
• Manage and evaluate subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery and compliance.
  
• Conduct technical review meetings and resolve on-site conflicts or design discrepancies.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

• 15 to 20 years of experience in MEP management for high-rise building projects.

• In-depth knowledge of MEP design standards, installation techniques, and testing protocols.

• Familiarity with local building codes, fire safety norms, green building certifications, and energy-efficient systems.
  
• Strong experience in

  project planning tools

  like MS Project or Primavera.
• Proficient in reviewing AutoCAD, Revit MEP drawings, and coordination models.
  
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making capability under pressure.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with

  Mivan or precast construction

  and its impact on MEP routing.
• Worked on

  high-rise Buildings
