Job responsibilities of an MEP Electrical Engineer in high-rise buildings As mentioned Below-

• Electrical Systems:

• Design, installation, and management of power distribution systems.
• Supervision of electrical panel rooms, DG sets, UPS, and emergency backup systems.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

• Mechanical Systems:

• Planning and execution of HVAC systems, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Coordination and installation of firefighting systems, including sprinklers and fire alarms.
• Ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency of mechanical systems.

• Plumbing Systems:

• Overseeing STP/ETP/WTP operations for wastewater treatment and management.
• Managing water supply and drainage systems for high-rise buildings.
• Ensuring adherence to plumbing codes and water conservation techniques.

• Quality Assurance:

• Conducting inspections and testing of MEP installations.
• Ensuring material specifications, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Performing root cause analysis for quality deviations and implementing corrective actions.

• Project Coordination:

• Resolving on-site challenges and ensuring smooth execution of MEP activities.
• Reviewing design drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs for accuracy.
• Coordinating with civil, structural, and architectural teams for seamless project integration.

• Testing & Commissioning:

• Conducting testing and commissioning of all MEP systems before project handover.
• Ensuring all systems function as per design specifications and client requirements.
• Preparing documentation, reports, and handing over operational guidelines.

MEP Engineers with 3 to 10 years of experience in residential/ commercial project.

Recognizes the areas that needs rebuilding for ease of functionality
Draws plans for the MEP fittings, Estimates the cost needed for the MEP work.Delegating work to contractors, monitoring QA,QC
