MEP Engineer

As an MEP engineer, your role involves working with a project management team under the supervision of a project director. Your primary duties include: - Managing multiple MEP projects - Ensuring minimal problems from design to delivery stage - Utilizing project management software, AutoCAD, and word processing programs to create MEP plans - Preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems - Overseeing the project management team's work and ensuring adherence to the project schedule - Coordinating on-site activities with architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers - Providing installation, maintenance, and technical advice for MEP systems to service providers, supervisors, and inspectors - Inspecting, analyzing, and resolving engineering issues related to MEP features - Reviewing and evaluating the work of contractors, consultants, and other construction professionals - Ensuring contractor drawings and installation methods comply with the MEP design plan - Making technical clarifications and design modifications to meet on-site construction requirements - Monitoring on-site health and safety policies and ensuring crew compliance - Conducting off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials for compliance and project suitability Additionally, the company provides benefits such as commuter assistance and food.
