Job Title: MEP Engineer Experience: 5 to 8 Years Location: Pune, India Industry: Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient MEP Engineer with 58 years of experience in design review, execution, and coordination of MEP services across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role requires hands-on experience in site execution, consultant/vendor management, and end-to-end MEP project delivery. You will collaborate with design and execution teams to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and adherence to project schedules and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Review and validate MEP designs, shop drawings, GFCs, and technical submittals from consultants and vendors. Ensure proper design coordination between electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and civil/architectural systems. Oversee MEP works execution on-site, ensuring conformance to approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes (NBC, IS, IEC, etc.). Conduct daily/weekly inspections and quality audits for HVAC, LV/MV electrical systems, fire-fighting, WTP/STP, water supply, and drainage systems. Monitor work progress, raise RFIs, manage redlines/as-built documentation, and track contractor deliverables. Prepare and update BOQs, technical reports, checklists, snag lists, and MEP schedules. Coordinate with procurement teams for MEP material approvals, delivery, and logistics. Participate in pre-commissioning, testing, and final handover of MEP systems. Identify technical risks, propose value engineering solutions, and suggest energy-efficient, green building practices. Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms during installation and commissioning activities. Interact with statutory authorities for approvals, inspections, and clearances.
