Job Description

As a Site Engineer specializing in Electrical/Electronics, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance at project sites. Collaborating closely with project teams, contractors, and clients is crucial to ensure the successful implementation and operation of electrical systems according to project specifications and timelines. Your roles and responsibilities will include assisting in the design and planning of electrical systems for project sites, reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities related to electrical systems. Supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment is essential, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations. Project coordination is key, as you will need to work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues during installation and commissioning will be part of your daily tasks. Conducting quality inspections and tests on electrical installations and equipment, and identifying and resolving any defects or deficiencies in electrical systems is crucial for maintaining high-quality standards. Implementing and enforcing safety measures and standards at project sites is a priority, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations by all personnel involved in electrical work. Additionally, preparing daily progress reports, inspection reports, and maintaining accurate records of electrical materials, equipment, and installations will be part of your documentation and reporting responsibilities. Maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders regarding electrical system requirements and progress, as well as addressing client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, is essential for successful project delivery. Providing training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, and staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering are also important aspects of the role. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in electrical installations and maintenance, knowledge of electrical design software and tools, familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time job opportunity with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the work location is in person.,
