MEP Coordinator

Role Overview: As an MEP Coordinator (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the coordination of MEP systems within construction projects. This involves managing and coordinating MEP subcontractors, reviewing and interpreting MEP drawings and specifications, and identifying and resolving potential conflicts between MEP systems. You will collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems with the overall building design. Additionally, you will assist in developing shop drawings and as-built drawings while ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards. Regular site inspections will be conducted by you to monitor MEP installations, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards. Furthermore, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors - Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications - Identify and resolve potential conflicts between MEP systems - Work with architects and engineers to integrate MEP systems with building design - Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP installations - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems - Assist in selecting and procuring MEP materials and equipment - Monitor budgets and cost estimates for MEP works - Oversee testing and commissioning of MEP systems - Prepare documentation and reports on system performance Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering - Working experience in MEP coordination or a similar role - Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems - Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant tools - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure,
