Job Description

designs, builds, and maintains custom web/mobile applications using the low-code Mendix platform, translating business needs into functional software by modeling data, creating logic with microflows, integrating with other systems via APIs, and ensuring quality through testing, often collaborating with analysts and stakeholders in Agile environments

Key Responsibilities

Application Development:
Design, develop, and deploy user-friendly web and mobile apps using Mendix visual modeling tools.
Requirement Analysis:
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Logic & Data Modeling:
Create robust data models and build application logic using Mendix microflows, nanoflows, and custom Java actions.
Integration:
Connect Mendix apps with external systems (ERPs, databases) using APIs, web services (REST, SOAP).
Testing & Maintenance:
Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure application security and scalability.
Collaboration:
Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Platform Extension:
Extend Mendix capabilities with custom code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java) for complex use cases.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience with the Mendix platform (Studio Pro, Modeler).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of databases (SQL) and integration technologies (APIs, Web Services).
Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and OOPS/Java for custom extensions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
