Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Arcadis, you will be a part of the Development teams within the Intelligence division, where you will work on delivering complex solutions and pushing the limits of technology. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Proficiency in various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Unix. - Secure infrastructure management, including firewall security and compliance. - Installation and maintenance of network devices and appliances. - Collaborating on security requirements and performing vulnerability testing. - Developing disaster recovery plans and overseeing network backups. - Building and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures to ensure system availability and performance. - Troubleshooting system issues with expertise in Agile methodologies. - Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating configuration management with Ansible, and enforcing DevOps practices. - Automating system alerts, enhancing development/release processes. - Leading automation efforts, maintaining security standards, and managing infrastructure code with Puppet. To be considered for this role, you should have: - At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in Linux-based systems. - Familiarity with network technologies, cloud platforms, and CI/CD tools. - Strong knowledge of Docker, experience with Ansible, docker-compose, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. - Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, ELB, SES, Elastic IP, and Route53. - Experience with monitoring tools and routine security scanning, SSL certificate setup, and network performance troubleshooting. - Expertise in high availability databases, log analysis, and managing on-premises infrastructure. - Experience in Change Management, Release Management, and DNS Management within Agile methodology. - Proficiency in orchestration technologies and scripting. - Additional skills in web applications/protocols, BI tools, and load testing.
