Job Description

Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe and edit audio recordings from healthcare professionals into written reports, correspondence, and medical documents.

Ensure all transcription work adheres to established guidelines and maintains the integrity of the patient's medical record.

Review and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness, adhering to privacy and confidentiality policies.

Correctly interpret medical terminology, abbreviations, and jargon to deliver precise documentation.

Collaborate with healthcare staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure the timely completion of transcription assignments.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical transcription trends and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting.

Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Exceptional listening and typing skills with a strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.

Certification in Medical Transcription (e.g., CMT or RMT) is preferred.

Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.Workplace Culture
