Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Ensure smooth administration to deliver good quality and timely in-patient services on a daily basis
Typing and proofing histories, physicals, consults, slides, operatives, test results or other medical information from physicians;
Maintaining records of incoming and completed transcriptions;
Assuring chronological typing order and\or urgency of assigned work;
Typing of letters, other correspondence and special reports as requested;
Verifying the accuracy of patient information on file;
Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries on routine information in accordance with established procedures;
Duplicating documents and other forms as requested;
Maintaining patient confidentiality; and, Performing other related duties within the department as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Experience- 2 Years of relevant experience as Medical Transcriptionist

Qualification- Graduation
