Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Patient Care Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor patient care activities in the ICU to ensure adherence to established protocols and NABH guidelines. Coordinate with intensivists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Conduct clinical rounds and review critically ill patients treatment plans and progress. Implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) for non-conformities identified during audits. Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) such as mortality rates, infection rates, and length of stay. Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between ICU, other hospital departments, and patient families. Facilitate timely communication of patient status and treatment plans to families with sensitivity and clarity. Collaborate with pharmacy and biomedical teams to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical medicines and equipment. Qualifications & Experience: Education: BAMS/ BDS/MHA Experience: Minimum 25 years of ICU Coordinator settings, including a supervisory role. Skills: Strong clinical knowledge of ICU protocols, emergency care, and critical care management. Leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with NABH standards, quality control, and documentation. Key Competencies: Patient-centric approach and empathy.
