Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Defense Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell our range of medical products and solutions to military, defense, and government healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in both medical sales and navigating the complex procurement processes within the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

? Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in military hospitals, defense medical units, and government procurement agencies.

? Drive sales of medical devices, equipment, and consumables to defense healthcare systems and institutions.

? Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

? Work closely with the tender and contracts teams.

? Provide detailed product demonstrations and training to healthcare professionals in military settings.

? Ensure compliance with government contracting rules, regulations, and ethical sales practices.

? Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide timely sales forecasts and reports.

? Attend relevant defense and medical trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions

Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, marketing, and product teams to support customer needs.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree, MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.

? 35+ years of experience in medical device/pharmaceutical sales, with preference for candidates having defense or government sales exposure.

? In-depth knowledge of defense procurement and contracting processes.

? Strong understanding of healthcare delivery in military settings.

? Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

? Ability to travel frequently, sometimes to secure/military locations.

? Existing security clearance or eligibility for clearance may be required.

Preferred Experience:

? Experience with command hospitals and military hospitals is mandatory

? Experience with government platforms like eProcurement systems.

? Familiarity with defense healthcare organizations such as the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).
