Medical Records Technician

As a Medical Records Technician at our facility in Faridabad, Haryana, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and manage medical records with the utmost precision and confidentiality. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe custody and availability of patient records as and when required. Additionally, you will be required to interact with other locations to procure necessary records and ensure that all records are accurate and complete within defined timeframes. Your duties will include filing records systematically using standard indexing practices, following up with physicians and nurses to prioritize medical record completion, and initiating and monitoring documentation as required by statutory guidelines. You will also be responsible for retrieval, tracing, and issuing of medical records, as well as maintaining appropriate departmental documentation while treating all patient, staff, and organizational information with strict confidentiality. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be actively involved in quality assurance and quality control activities, as well as participating in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Diploma/Degree in Medical Record Technology and have a strong understanding of medical terminology.
