Medical Laboratory Technician

As a Medical Laboratory Technician at Micro Genomics India (Pvt) Ltd. in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing samples, conducting laboratory tests for accurate disease diagnosis, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Isolation of DNA from clinical samples - Performing PCR, GEL electrophoresis, DNA sequencing - Extensive micro pipetting & measuring - Preparation of solutions and reagents following standard laboratory procedures - Monitoring inventory levels per established policies - Adhering to laboratory procedures, safety, and sanitization protocols - Maintaining QC related documents and test logs - Upholding confidentiality at all times Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in handling infectious samples in a molecular diagnostic laboratory - Essential experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Qualifications: - B Tech / M Tech in Biotechnology or Genetic Engineering - BSc / MSc in Biotechnology or Genetic Engineering - BSc / MSc in Molecular Biology Skills: - Team player - Excellent communication skills - Proficiency in English writing and speaking - Presentation skills - General computer skills (Internet, Email, office package) If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please send your CV to hr@medisequence.com for consideration.
