Position Summary

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Lab Technician to join our Quality and Operations team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing critical diagnostic tests, ensuring meticulous specimen handling, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality control within the laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Testing: Perform and analyze a wide range of routine and specialized diagnostic tests (biochemical, hematological, microbiological, etc.) on patient samples following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Specimen Management: Handle, label, process, and prepare biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) accurately and efficiently for testing and storage.
• Quality Control: Execute regular quality control (QC) checks, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all results.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record and document test results, maintain comprehensive logbooks, and assist in the timely generation of pathology reports.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols, sterilization procedures, and waste disposal guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and uphold regulatory standards.
• Inventory: Monitor and manage laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or
• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a Lab Technician.

Domain Expertise

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Pathology and various clinical laboratory disciplines.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining common laboratory equipment (e.g., automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes).

Essential Attributes

• Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in performing tests and reporting results.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage high volumes of samples.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
