Job Description

  • Team Voice: Participate in the annual Team Voice audit conducted by BDF.
  • Customer (Doctor) Queries & Issues: Respond to internal and external queries or issues related to your customer accounts.
  • Meetings: Attend internal meetings and provide input to support other BDF functions.
  • Database Management: Update, manage, and analyze the Doctors Database.
  • PIs (Pricing Information): Ensure PIs are introduced to customers appropriately to facilitate timely and efficient pricing acceptance.
  • Filing: Ensure all account-related information is clearly filed electronically on the BDF Shared drive or in paper files, keeping all files up to date.
  • Competitor Activity: Regularly provide feedback on competitor activities in the doctor's office.

Key Requirements

  • Relationship Management: Call on, develop, and manage strong relationships with Pharmacists, Beauty Advisors, and Store Managers.
  • Company Representation: Act as the face of the Company through contact with medical professionals and actively participate in the sales marketing campaign.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain superior levels of product, market, and formulary information, and translate product features into benefits that meet customer needs.
  • Key Opinion Leaders: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders to enhance the company's professionalism and brand messaging.
  • Portfolio Expertise: Be an expert on the portfolio indications related to the company's products and brands.
  • Training: Participate in all annual and mandatory internal training requirements.
  • Sales & Marketing: Market all products and drive sales through pharmacy/dispensing points.
  • Consulting & Training: Consult and train on the company's product range and related medical conditions.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Sales, Marketing, or Business.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in dermatology.
  • Experience of direct selling to pharmacies in the territory with established relationships is a must.
  • Strong sales performance track record.
  • Proficiency in Business English (written & spoken).
  • Generic portfolio direct sales experience will be advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
