Job Description – HCC Medical Coder

Location: Hyderabad, India

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in HCC Medical Coding

Certification: CPC / CRC / CCS or equivalent AAPC / AHIMA certification (mandatory)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and certified HCC Medical Coders to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Risk Adjustment coding, strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM guidelines, and proven ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HCC Risk Adjustment coding on medical records with high accuracy.
• Review clinical documentation to ensure correct assignment of ICD-10-CM codes.
• Maintain compliance with CMS and payer guidelines.
• Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with team leads and QA for process improvements.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data security protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HCC medical coding.
• Mandatory AAPC / AHIMA certification (CPC, CRC, CCS, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
