Medical coding Pathology - Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities: -

• Review and analyze pathology lab reports, biopsy reports, cytology reports and histopathology documents.
• Assign accurate ICD- 10, CPT and HCPCS codes for all pathology- related procedures.
• Ensure coding accuracy based on industry guidelines, NCCI edits, and payer-specific rules.
• Identify missing or unclear documentation and coordinate for clarification.
• Maintain high levels of quality (accuracy) and productivity in coding tasks.
• Follow compliance with HIPAA regulations and company data privacy rules.
• Work closely with QA team to resolve coding errors and improve accuracy.
• Stay update on latest pathology coding guidelines, revisions and coding changes.
• Support internal audits and participate in regular training session.

Desired Candidate Profile: -

• Should be a Science Graduate.

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Pathology.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

• Comfortable to work from office.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills (Should have capability to reply properly to client and stakeholders.
• Successful completion of CPC or CCS certification must be active during joining and verified.
• Able to work independently and willing to adapt and change as per business/ process requirements.

Timings & Transport

1. Shift timings 8.30am - 5.30Pm

2. FIVE DAYS WORKING (MONDAY FRIDAY)

3. Need to be Comfortable with WFO-Work from office.
