Job Purpose:

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 years

    of overall experience in

    Medical Coding

    with at least 4 years in a management role
  • Graduation/PG in any of the following: Dpharm/Bpharm/Mpharm/BSC/MSC/Btech or BHMS/BAMS
  • CRC/CPC or any other relevant certification from AAPC/AHIMA is a must

Goals and Objectives:

  • Meet client SLAs
  • Meet monthly projected targets, manage and optimize staff utilization
  • Drive and develop systems and processes to achieve high standards of quality
  • Manage team and its development
  • Manage hiring and staff movement into different projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and stabilize projects assigned in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continually improve processes to achieve operational excellence.
  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop staff.
  • Design KPIs for effective collaboration between teams, which adheres to organizational requirements.
  • Achieve high levels of employee engagement, drive retention strategies.
  • Design and implement road map for employee growth structure upto AM level.
  • Identify process gaps, suggest and/or initiate process improvement projects.
  • Identify training needs of different team members and work on their improvement.
  • Conduct periodic and annual reviews with the team
  • Continually improve processes through RCAs, CAPA, BI or automation to improve overall efficiency of the department.
  • Bring in value add to projects/processes handled.
  • Responsibility of overseeing day-to-day activities of team members.
  • Identify risks in project and plan to mitigate risk through planning and implementation.
  • Plan and delegate the work to the team members to ensure job rotation and job enrichment
  • Monitor daily progress and make adjustments/corrections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Simplify complex processes and promote lean strategies.
