Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Review medical records, including radiology reports, lab results, and other relevant documents to accurately code diagnoses using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for accurate coding practices.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis or treatment details when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

6-11 years of experience as a Certified Clinical Coder (CCC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
Knowledge of clinical rules for accurate coding decisions based on documentation provided by healthcare providers.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHRs) such as Epic Systems or similar platforms.
