Medical Coder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to accurately translate medical records, diagnoses, and procedures into standardized codes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines and payer requirements.
• Verify completeness of medical documentation to support assigned codes.
• Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures when needed.
• Maintain high productivity and quality standards in coding tasks.
• Identify coding errors and provide suggestions for documentation improvement.
• Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, payer policies, and medical regulations.
• Assist in audits, quality checks, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field (preferred).
• Certification in CPC, CCA, CCS, or any recognized medical coding certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and ability to work with healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,083.84 - ₹50,459.07 per month
