About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our team at Birajtech Services Pvt Ltd. The role involves accurate coding of medical procedures, preparing and submitting claims, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate medical codes (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) to patient records.
• Prepare, review, and submit claims to insurance companies.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with industry guidelines, payer requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of billing and coding activities.
• Collaborate with doctors, healthcare staff, and internal teams for coding accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical billing and coding (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Familiarity with insurance claim processes and healthcare compliance.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is a plus.
