Medical Assistant

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain Medical Records: Accurately record and update students' medical histories, health conditions, immunization status, and details of all treatments provided in the school clinic, ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Manage Clinic Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked infirmary or clinic environment, including managing medical supplies inventory and ordering new stock when needed.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide First Aid and Emergency Care: Deliver immediate first aid for injuries, accidents, and sudden illnesses among students and staff, and manage medical emergencies until professional medical help arrives.
• Perform Basic Health Screenings: Conduct routine health checkups, including measuring vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight, height), and assist with vision and hearing tests.
• Administer Medication: Administer prescribed medications to students as directed by parents and physicians, strictly adhering to protocols and documentation requirements.
• Wound Care: Clean and dress minor wounds and injuries, ensuring proper infection control measures are followed.

Public Health and Education Responsibilities

• Monitor School Environment: Periodically inspect the school's sanitation, water supply, and overall hygiene to ensure a healthy and safe environment, and advise the authorities on necessary improvements.
• Health Education: Provide basic health education and guidance to students and staff on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and wellness.
• Disease Control: Help minimize the spread of communicable diseases by identifying potential cases, implementing isolation procedures where necessary, and maintaining immunization records.
• Safety and Injury Prevention: Contribute to developing and implementing safety protocols and be prepared for injury prevention in the school environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
