Media Intern

You will be responsible for ground reporting, which includes conducting interviews and gathering information by visiting relevant individuals for news stories or features. It is crucial to gather accurate and detailed information for reporting purposes. Researching topics thoroughly to ensure accuracy and relevance in reporting and verifying facts to uphold credibility and integrity in your reports will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to write engaging and informative reports based on the gathered information and edit them to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to journalistic standards. In the realm of video production, you will need to conceptualize and plan video content that aligns with organizational goals. This will involve developing ideas for video content and planning shoots, including scheduling and logistics. Using camera equipment to capture high-quality video footage and editing the footage using video editing software to create polished final products will also be part of your responsibilities. Post-production tasks such as adding captions, subtitles, and other visual elements as needed and distributing video content across relevant platforms will also fall under your purview. When it comes to public interaction, you will be required to engage with audiences by responding to comments and messages on social media and other platforms. Engaging in discussions and forums related to media content will also be expected. Additionally, you will need to conduct public outreach by organizing or participating in public events, such as press conferences or community meetings, and developing relationships with community leaders and influencers. Managing public relations, handling media inquiries, and providing information as needed to maintain a positive public image for the organization will be essential.
