As a Media Delivery Specialist you will have to perform the following actions on both on-prem and on Cloud CDN:
-> Design and implement Streaming Media Architectures.
-> Perform vendor selection, due diligence and research.
-> Perform configurations and implementation of Streaming Media environments.
-> Perform integration of Media Playout / Media Streaming within the Network to support VoD, StartOver, Re-Start, Replay and NetworkPVR functionalities.
-> Support capacity and planning modelling against requirements.
-> Work independently on assigned components as component owner with all Video and Media delivery systems vendors.
-> Write and manage test cases towards test/release management.
-> Actively participate and coordinate tests to verify new platform / component functionality.
-> Assist affiliates in setting up operational procedures to run/implement new functionality.
-> Conducted individual or group trainings to educate users on system functions and proper use of hardware and software.
-> Establish procedures to guarantee readiness, quality and accuracy.
-> Evaluate impact of new software and monitored performance to make necessary changes.
-> Perform thorough fault resolution and triage through expert technical support, escalating complex issues to completion.
-> Manage new system installations for timely distribution and minimized disruption to productivity.
-> Facilitate server migrations and upgrades swiftly and accurately, aiding smooth-running IT operations.
-> Produce monthly project reports to assess progress and identify areas of concerns.
-> Provide knowledge transfer.
-> Provide handover documentation.
-> Lead production implementation of software changes.
