Mechanical Technician Apprentice

• Routine Maintenance:Performing tasks like lubricating moving parts, changing filters, and inspecting components to prevent malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:Diagnosing issues with machinery and conducting necessary repairs to restore functionality.
• Installation:Assisting with the installation of new equipment, ensuring it's set up correctly and safely.
• Preventative Measures:Devising maintenance plans to avoid future malfunctions and minimize downtime.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining detailed records of machine service history and maintenance activities.
• Safety Compliance:Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Control of Hazardous Energy procedures.
• Collaboration:Working with engineers and other technicians to provide technical support and contribute to system improvements.
• Quality Control:Running tests to ensure equipment and products meet specifications and are safe for use.
• Training:Potentially training other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Optimizing Performance:Adjusting machinery and equipment settings to maximize efficiency.
