Qualification: Bachelor/ Master Degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities: As an MSI Engineer , Jobholder will be Engineering Technical responsible for activities related to Mechanical System Installation that includes
-
Performing Design concepts, improvising design and Ensuring proper equipment installation and integration to the Aircraft system (Preferably Air Conditioning, Waste Management, Hydraulic Systems, Pipes and Ducts etc.)

Provide Engineering assistance in solving design issues from Manufacturing and supplier concerns
-
Propose and implement the improvements in terms of System Installation with impact on weight, lead-time and cost of the aircraft.

Ensure the consistency between the Configured DMU and the design intent for the Airbus design teams.

Application of the new technologies while building new aircraft designs.
-
Network & liaise with a broad range of Airframe Systems including Industrialization, Standardization, Research & Environment Integration.

Propose and implement digitization ideas through new ways of working.

Reporting of all activities as per Airbus procedures.

Willing to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment on a need basis.

Interact with multiple stakeholders, ensure adherence to planned timelines, Schedule Risk management

Review Engineering documentation including Design.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D models, Engineering Drawing(2D, F3D) for System installation & Integration , exposure to 3DXperience would be an added advantage.(Tools: Catia V5,VPM, DPDS, PASS SSI, Solings and other CADCAM tools).

DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.

Knowledge on Aircraft build process and basic understanding of Aircraft systems.

Basic understanding of Defence and Space Systems and Defence requirements.

Experience in handling PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models with design in context Environment.

Good Design knowledge on integration of Air Conditioning (ATA21), Waste Management (ATA38) , Fuel Systems(ATA 28) and Hydraulic systems(ATA 29).

Good understanding about Pipe design, Fuel and Hydraulic Installation design principles.

Exposure required towards Interface studies, material selection, Sealing and fire protection details.

Should have good understanding about routing fuel/Hydraulic lines, designing mounting brackets and ensuring system functionality.

Exposure to Product Development life cycle including Design, Development, Qualification, Testing and release, Exposure to Configuration and Change Management

Exposure to Design review process

Good Project Management skills to drive the performance KPIs & improvements proactively.

Good understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation & Processes.
