Mechanical Supervisor

Core responsibilities

• Team leadership: Supervise, mentor, and direct the activities of mechanics, technicians, and foremen to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Maintenance planning and execution: Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment, create maintenance plans, and oversee the execution of repair and installation work.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Diagnose mechanical issues, analyze their root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Quality control: Inspect work to ensure it meets required standards and quality levels.
• Record-keeping and reporting: Maintain records of work performed, track costs, and report on key metrics, reliability, and maintenance activities.
• Project management: Coordinate project activities, manage budgets for maintenance work, and work with other departments or engineers on project planning and implementation.

Required skills and qualifications

• Technical expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Leadership and communication: Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Organizational skills: Excellent planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is often preferred, along with relevant experience.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in using software for maintenance management and reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
