Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols, industry standards, and relevant regulations. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Diagnose mechanical issues, analyze their root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Quality control: Inspect work to ensure it meets required standards and quality levels. Record-keeping and reporting: Maintain records of work performed, track costs, and report on key metrics, reliability, and maintenance activities. Project management: Coordinate project activities, manage budgets for maintenance work, and work with other departments or engineers on project planning and implementation. Required skills and qualifications Technical expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures. Leadership and communication: Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Organizational skills: Excellent planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
