Job Description

Work with key stakeholders to align on modeling requirements, performance metrics, and boundary conditions
Build and pre-process models , mesh, solve, post process, and analyze results
Run parametric studies to optimize the performance
Present findings to thermal engineers and management to identify problem areas and opportunities to improve design for cost, power, and cooling efficiency
Establish new processes, and maintain consistent modeling practices within the CFD team

Essential Requirements

9+ years of industry experience in modelling liquid cooling systems and thermal design, or equivalent expertise.
Proven experience in CFD modeling liquid cooling for electronics including fluid flow and heat transfer analysis. Experience with FEA modeling, ideally in ANSYS for part deformation.
Proficient in using Star CCM+ and specialized tools like Icepak or FloTHERM for advanced thermal modelling and simulation.
Strong experience with CAD software, particularly CREO, ensuring precision in design and execution for cooling solutions.

Desirable Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on CFD
Experience with liquid cooling in servers. Knowledge of cooling requirements for GPU s and CPU s
