Mechanical Maintenance Officer

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and gearboxes. You will be tasked with diagnosing mechanical faults, implementing corrective actions to repair or replace defective components, and responding promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions. Additionally, you will be required to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs in the CMMS, and collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams during maintenance activities. You may also assist in equipment installation and commissioning as necessary and ensure all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to propose improvements to equipment or maintenance practices to enhance reliability.
