Mechanical Maintenance head/manager

mechanical maintenance manager oversees the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery within a facility. This includes ensuring efficient and safe operation, developing maintenance strategies, managing staff, and coordinating repairs and parts procurement. They are also responsible for budgeting, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Development:Creating and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and schedules.
• Supervision & Management:Leading, training, and supervising the maintenance team, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintenance & Repair:Ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to a working standard, conducting inspections, and overseeing repairs and installations.
• Budget Management:Managing the maintenance budget, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring equipment and parts inventory and placing orders when needed.
• Vendor Management:Coordinating with external vendors for maintenance work and negotiating contracts.
