Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: You will be responsible for preventive planning for mechanical maintenance of production equipment's. This includes checking equipment's periodically as per preventive maintenance schedule to avoid breakdowns. Additionally, you will be involved in spares planning to ensure timely availability of spares, as well as manpower planning to support maintenance activities. In this role, you will work closely with the departmental head to achieve maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain necessary documentation. You will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment's under breakdown and ensuring they are ready for operation promptly. Collaborating with other departments to identify bottlenecks and rectify them early on will be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining the maintenance logbook and equipment history card, supervising jobs awarded to vendors, and ensuring discipline in the department are key aspects of this role. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and availability of forklifts for production, providing on-the-job training to workmen, and ensuring the safety of equipment's. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Kalyani. The benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund.
