Job Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with solid hands-on experience in boiler, turbine, and utility maintenance at a leading power plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, reliability, and maintenance of all critical mechanical systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment such as boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, and utility systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment reliability and plant availability through proper maintenance planning.
• Support in shutdown, overhauling, and inspection of mechanical systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation in line with company standards.
• Identify root causes of failures and take corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance SOPs.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and operation teams for smooth plant performance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for mechanical services.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 5–7 years in Mechanical Maintenance, preferably in Power Plant or Process Industry
• Knowledge of boiler, turbine, pumps, compressors, and utility equipment maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Awareness of safety, statutory, and ISO/OHSAS compliance
