Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Operating Machinery

   : Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process. This may include assembly line equipment, manufacturing machinery, or specialized tools.

2. Setup and Calibration

   : Set up machinery according to production schedules and specifications. Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate performance.

3. Quality Control

   : Conduct quality control checks on products at various stages of the production process. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

4. Troubleshooting

   : Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes. Diagnose problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

5. Maintenance and Repair

   : Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition. Conduct repairs or coordinate with maintenance staff for more complex issues.

6. Safety Compliance

   : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and operating machinery safely.

7. Production Planning

   : Assist in production planning activities such as scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management. Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets.

• Design and Development:

  Create and refine electrical and mechanical systems, components, and machinery to meet production requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

• System Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, control systems, and automation equipment, to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to prevent breakdowns. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

• Process Improvement:

  Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Implement modifications or new technologies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

• Project Management:

  Oversee and coordinate engineering projects from concept through implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Compliance and Safety:

  Ensure that all engineering practices comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Develop and enforce safety protocols for operating machinery and equipment.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  Maintain accurate records of engineering designs, modifications, maintenance activities, and compliance reports. Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for management review.

• Collaboration and Training:

  Work closely with other engineers, production staff, and management to address technical issues and support operational goals. Provide training and support to staff on new equipment or processes.
