Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering and Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving mechanical design, product development, and engineering validation activities, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product realization from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical product development, including concept design, prototyping, testing, and production handover.
  
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T.
  
• Perform mechanical and structural calculations to ensure product performance, safety, and reliability.
  
• Collaborate with production, tooling, quality, and supplier teams to incorporate DFM/DFA principles.
  
• Conduct prototyping, validation tests, and data analysis; refine designs based on test outcomes.
  
• Support cost-optimization initiatives while maintaining required product standards.
  
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs, specifications, and ECOs.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
  
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
  
• Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and industrial components.
  
• Experience with tolerance analysis, testing, and design validation.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent design execution skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAE tools (FEA/CFD) and correlation with physical testing.
  
• Familiarity with PLM systems, revision control, and engineering documentation processes.
  
• Understanding of relevant standards, regulatory requirements, and product certification norms.
