Mechanical Engineer – Piping & Structure Inspection (Long Term)

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Piping and Structural Inspection to join our team at the Vadodara project site. The role involves ensuring fabrication, erection, and inspection activities meet technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of piping and structural fabrication/erection at site.
• Verify welding, fit-up, alignment, and dimensional checks as per codes and drawings.
• Monitor compliance with quality assurance (QA/QC) procedures.
• Review WPS, PQR, material test certificates, NDT reports and related documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project team to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in piping and structural inspection.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, IS codes and industry standards.
• Familiarity with welding inspection, NDT, material inspection.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
