The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and products. This role involves applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science to develop innovative and efficient engineering solutions that meet project specifications, quality standards, and budget requirements).
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and simulations (FEA, CFD as applicable).
Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, procurement, QA) to optimize designs for performance and cost.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs; analyze results and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during production and field operations.
Manage documentation, BOMs, and revision control in PLM systems.
