Mechanical Engineer – Chemical Plant Trials & Technical Support

Position Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in supporting chemical plant trials, pilot testing, and process evaluations at customer sites and company facilities. The role requires extensive travel nationally and internationally, close collaboration with R&D, production, and customer teams, and strong technical understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and monitor chemical plant trials and pilot studies at customer sites and internal facilities.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers during trials, ensuring smooth execution and accurate reporting.
• Understand and communicate the technical specifications and applications of our products.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to implement trial protocols and capture technical data.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related challenges during chemical trials.
• Prepare detailed trial reports, technical documentation, and recommendations for further improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during trial operations.
• Represent the company in international forums, customer sites, and partner facilities with professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in chemical/engineering industries (exposure to chemical trials preferred).
• Strong understanding of process equipment, plant operations, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (national & international) .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
