Job Description

Mechanical Engineer WRS Plant (Chapparadahalli, Bengaluru)

Position:

Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive & corrective maintenance of pumps, blowers, valves, compressors, mechanical seals, and rotating equipment.
Support daily operations of the WRS plant by ensuring mechanical systems run efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs.
Maintain maintenance logs, AMC records, spare parts tracking, and equipment health reports.
Coordinate with operations and electrical teams for smooth plant functioning.
Support project activities, installation, commissioning, and equipment alignment.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols while performing maintenance work.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with
pumps, blowers, motors, valves, membranes equipment, filters, and mechanical assemblies
.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Good knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Basic understanding of water & wastewater treatment equipment (preferred).
Strong documentation & communication skills.
