Mechanical Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman to assist our Design Engineer in preparing accurate drawings and documentation for various firefighting and fire suppression systems. The candidate will work on AutoCAD and related tools to produce layout plans, sections, isometric views, and fabrication/shop drawings for hydrant, sprinkler, foam, water spray, CO₂, clean agent and various other firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting & Design Support

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings based on the design engineer’s mark-ups and sketches.
• Create firefighting layout plans, schematics, riser diagrams, section views, and isometric drawings.
• Draft pipe routing, valve placements, and nozzle arrangements for systems like hydrants, sprinklers, water spray, and gas suppression.

Coordination & Revisions

• Incorporate feedback from the design engineer, client, or site team to revise drawings.
• Coordinate with internal departments for BOQ alignment, fabrication support, and site feasibility.
• Maintain revision logs and drawing control records.

Documentation & Standards

• Ensure that all drawings comply with NBC, NFPA, IS, TAC, or other applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain drawing folders, CAD templates, layer standards, and block libraries.

Support in Calculations & BOQs

• Assist in extracting pipe lengths, fitting counts, nozzle quantities, etc., from drawings for BOQ preparation.
• Provide support in preparing equipment layout drawings for pump rooms, CO₂ bank rooms, and panel rooms.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
