Mechanical Design (Rail)

Work experience: 5-10 Years

Qualification: BE/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Work location: Bangalore near Whitfield

Weekly 5 Days work from office, Shifts will be rotational or as per projects need, Flexibility to Work on Shift II

Shift II 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Requirements

• Experience in locomotive design
• Experience in rail car design in frame design, bogie design, body design, and outfitting design
• knowledge in railway vehicles (structure, doors, windows, their mechanisms, etc.) and should good at Concept Design
• Knowledge in railway system in general
• Knowledge in railway vehicle equipment and systems
• Experience in fundamentals of welding and understanding of welding standards
• Knowledge in railways among major standards such as EN, IEC, ISO
• Experience in Documents preparation for submission to customers and suppliers.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating concept design and detail design
• Design calculations
• 3D Model and 2D drawings creation.
