Job Overview:

We are seeking motivated Mechanical Design Engineers to join our growing team in Pune. The role offers exposure to Automation, SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and Conveyor Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, along with strong fundamentals of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

• Create and modify 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed engineering specifications, GD&T, and documentation.
• Work on assemblies, sub-assemblies, sheet metal components, and machine tools.
• Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and costing support.

Analysis & Testing:

• Perform design simulations (stress, thermal, etc.) to validate designs.
• Support prototype testing and evaluate product performance.

Project Management & Collaboration:

• Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and documentation. 
• Coordinate with production, purchase, QA, and procurement teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify design optimization and cost reduction opportunities.
• Stay updated with latest CAD tools, automation trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in Automation / SPM / Conveyor Design.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawing standards, and calculations.
• Strong fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering principles.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Candidate Profile:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design (SPM, Automation, Machine Tools, or Conveyor Industry).
• BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
