Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC systems within our MEP consultancy team, your role will involve developing and executing HVAC concept plans, detailed designs, heat load calculations, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and coordination of Good for Construction (GFC) drawings. Your responsibilities will include integrating sustainability considerations into HVAC design, performing accurate heat load calculations, preparing detailed HVAC system designs, developing comprehensive BOQs, reviewing GFC drawings, and ensuring seamless coordination with other project teams. You will be expected to collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team, adhere to local codes and standards, optimize HVAC system sizing and selection, and attend client meetings, site visits, and construction inspections to provide technical support. Quality assurance will be a key aspect of your role, requiring thorough checks on HVAC designs, calculations, and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability. Your expertise in mechanical engineering principles, strong analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential for successful project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
