Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks andAutoCAD for mechanical design.
• Knowledgeon GD&T
• Knowledge on different IS & Other Industrial Stds
• Basic understanding of electronics and their application in mechanical systems.
• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Hands on preparation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc., docwill bean added advantage
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., SolidWorks Certification) are a plus but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Design: Develop detailed mechanical designs for components and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Ensure designs meet functional and performance requirementsTechnical Drawings:Createand manage 2D and 3Dtechnical drawings, schematics, and models.
• Maintain high standards ofaccuracy and compliance withengineering standards.
• Collaboration: Work closelywith engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather design requirements and ensurealignment with project goals.
• Prototyping and Testing: Assist in the development of prototypes, conduct tests, and analyse results to validate and refine designs.
• Documentation: Prepare and update design documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports.
• Electronics Integration: Apply basic knowledge of electronics to ensure mechanicaldesigns can effectively integrate with electronic components or systems.
• Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews, providing insights and feedback toenhance designfeasibility and performance.
• Problem-Solving:Address and resolve anydesign-related issues or challengesthat arise during development and manufacturing.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to continuously improve design practices and methodologies.
