Mechanical Design Engineer - Infrastructure

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Systems Engineer at Dar, your primary role will involve designing and developing mechanical systems for a variety of infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for analyzing system performance, preparing technical documentation, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, identifying and solving mechanical issues, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical systems for infrastructure projects such as pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, tunnel mechanical systems, district cooling systems, and gas distribution networks. - Conduct detailed performance analyses to ensure system efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with established criteria. - Create comprehensive engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports. - Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, local regulations, and client-specific requirements. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs. - Manage coordination efforts to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts and ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems. - Identify and address mechanical issues during design and construction phases. - Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure successful project delivery. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. - Apply innovative solutions to enhance system performance and project outcomes.
